Subject: Complaint about the bad condition of electricity in our locality

Sir/Madam,

Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, I wish to draw the attention of the concerned authorities towards the poor condition of electricity in our locality, Shastri Nagar.

For the past few weeks, we have been facing frequent power cuts, especially during the evening hours. The voltage keeps fluctuating, which damages our electrical appliances. Students are unable to study properly at night, and the heat becomes unbearable without fans. Even street lights do not work, making the area unsafe after dark.

We have complained several times to the electricity department, but no action has been taken so far. I request the concerned authorities to look into this matter immediately and take proper steps to ensure regular power supply in our area.
