Description

Raksha Bandhan is a special festival that celebrates the bond of love and protection between brothers and sisters. It is usually celebrated in the month of August. On this day, sisters tie a colourful thread called a rakhi on their brothers’ wrists, pray for their happiness, and offer sweets. In return, brothers give gifts and promise to protect their sisters throughout their lives. Families come together to celebrate with joy and affection. Raksha Bandhan is not just about gifts and sweets—it is about trust, love, and the special relationship between siblings.

Activity Question

"What if My School Was on the Moon"

If my school was on the moon, I would travel there in a shiny rocket every morning. Our classroom would have big windows to see the Earth shining like a blue marble. We would bounce around in slow motion during games, and instead of a playground, we would have a space-jumping area. Writing on the blackboard would be tricky because the chalk might float away! The best part would be lunch—our sandwiches would float in the air, and we would have to catch them before eating. School on the moon would be fun, but I think I would miss gravity and my friends on Earth.
