2. Previous Knowledge / पूर्व ज्ञान
Ask students:
- Where do you go to pray?
आप प्रार्थना करने कहाँ जाते हैं? - Have you ever visited a temple, mosque, church or gurudwara?
क्या आपने कभी मंदिर, मस्जिद, चर्च या गुरुद्वारा देखा है? - What do people do there?
वहाँ लोग क्या करते हैं?
Allow students to share their experiences.
3. Introduction / परिचय
Teacher shows pictures of different places of worship.
Teacher:
“Children, look at these pictures. Can you tell me what these places are?”
Teacher:
“बच्चों, इन चित्रों को देखो। क्या तुम बता सकते हो कि ये कौन-से स्थान हैं?”
Students may answer: Temple, Mosque, Church, Gurudwara.
Teacher explains:
“These are called places of worship. People visit these places to pray and worship. अलग-अलग धर्मों के लोगों के पूजा करने के स्थान अलग हो सकते हैं।”
Then introduce the topic:
“Today we are going to learn about Places of Worship.”
“आज हम पूजा के विभिन्न स्थानों के बारे में सीखेंगे।”

A. Temple / मंदिर
- A temple is a place where many Hindus worship.
- मंदिर वह स्थान है जहाँ कई हिंदू पूजा करते हैं।
- People may pray, sing prayers and offer flowers or other offerings.
- लोग प्रार्थना करते हैं और फूल आदि अर्पित कर सकते हैं।

B. Mosque / मस्जिद
- A mosque is a place of worship for Muslims.
- मस्जिद मुसलमानों का पूजा स्थल है।
- Muslims offer prayers in a mosque.
- मुसलमान मस्जिद में नमाज़ पढ़ते हैं।

C. Church / चर्च
- A church is a place of worship for Christians.
- चर्च ईसाइयों का पूजा स्थल है।
- Christians pray in a church.
- ईसाई चर्च में प्रार्थना करते हैं।

D. Gurudwara / गुरुद्वारा
- A gurudwara is a place of worship for Sikhs.
- गुरुद्वारा सिखों का पूजा स्थल है।
- People visit a gurudwara to pray and listen to the teachings of the Guru Granth Sahib.
- लोग गुरुद्वारे में प्रार्थना करते हैं और गुरु ग्रंथ साहिब की शिक्षाएँ सुनते हैं।
