The face value is the number itself.

  • Face value of 8 = 8

D. Expanded Form

विस्तारित रूप

Writing numbers according to place values.

Example

345 = 300 + 40 + 5

567 = 500 + 60 + 7

E. Standard Form

सामान्य रूप

Writing expanded numbers in short form.

Example

200 + 30 + 5 = 235

F. Comparing Numbers

संख्याओं की तुलना

Symbols:

  • greater than (से बड़ा)

  • < less than (से छोटा)
  • = equal to (बराबर)

Examples

  • 456 > 234
  • 123 < 321

G. Ascending and Descending Order

आरोही और अवरोही क्रम

Ascending Order

Smallest to biggest.

छोटी से बड़ी संख्या तक।

Example: 123, 245, 567

Descending Order

Biggest to smallest.

बड़ी से छोटी संख्या तक।

Example: 567, 245, 123

H. Greatest and Smallest Numbers

सबसे बड़ी और सबसे छोटी संख्या

Example

Digits: 2, 5, 8

Greatest Number = 852
Smallest Number = 258

I. Skip Counting

J. Even and Odd Numbers
