📅 DAY 1: Introduction to Living and Non-Living Things

Concept Focus:

  • Understanding what living and non-living things are
  • Introduction to the basic differences

Activities:

  • Show a video or pictures of various objects (animals, cars, plants, toys, etc.)
  • Class discussion: Which ones are alive? Why?
  • Group activity: Sorting objects into two categories (Living / Non-Living) using flashcards

Homework:

  • Ask students to bring one object from home and tell if it is living or non-living

Concept Focus:

  • Living things grow, move, need food, breathe, reproduce, respond to the environment
