Explain:

The words big and small describe the ball.

These words are called Adjectives.

What is an Adjective? (विशेषण क्या है?)

English

An adjective is a word that describes a noun or a pronoun.

It tells us about:

  • Colour
  • Size
  • Shape
  • Number
  • Quality

Examples:

  • A red apple
  • A tall boy
  • A beautiful flower
  • A sweet mango

The words red, tall, beautiful, sweet are adjectives.

विशेषण वह शब्द है जो संज्ञा या सर्वनाम की विशेषता बताता है।
