The Arabian Desert is located in Southwest Asia. It covers most of the Arabian Peninsula and extends across Saudi Arabia and parts of neighbouring countries like Yemen, Oman, the UAE, Jordan and Iraq.

2. Give a short note on the climate and vegetation of the Arabian Desert.
Answer:
The Arabian Desert has a hot and dry climate with very little rainfall. Summers are extremely hot and winters are cool. Vegetation is sparse and includes date palms, thorny bushes, cactus and grasses, mainly around oases.

Answer:
Saudi Arabia is rich because it has large reserves of petroleum (oil) and natural gas. The export of oil earns huge income. Modern industries, trade and pilgrimage tourism also contribute to its economy.

People visit Mecca and Madina because they are the holiest cities of Islam. Muslims from all over the world go there to perform Hajj and Umrah.

Answer:
Bedouins are nomadic Arab tribes who traditionally live in the desert. They move from place to place with their camels, sheep and goats in search of water and pasture. They live in tents and are known for their hospitality.
