Local Government is the government that works at the village, town, or city level to solve local problems.

👉 स्थानीय सरकार वह शासन प्रणाली है जो गाँव, कस्बे और शहर स्तर पर लोगों की समस्याओं का समाधान करती है।

  • Drinking water / पेयजल

  • Village roads / गाँव की सड़कें

Physical features are natural landforms of the Earth.

India has six major physical divisions:

1️⃣ The Himalayan Mountains

(हिमालय पर्वत)

  • Young fold mountains

  • Protect India from cold winds

👉 हिमालय भारत के उत्तर में स्थित ऊँचे पर्वत हैं

Importance / महत्व:

  • Source of rivers / नदियों का स्रोत

  • Natural boundary / प्राकृतिक सीमा

2️⃣ The Northern Plains

(उत्तरी मैदान)

  • Formed by rivers like Ganga, Yamuna

  • Very fertile land

👉 यह क्षेत्र खेती के लिए बहुत उपजाऊ है

Main crops / फसलें:

  • Rice, wheat / धान, गेहूँ

3️⃣ The Peninsular Plateau

(प्रायद्वीपीय पठार)

  • Oldest landmass

  • Rich in minerals

Examples:

  • Chotanagpur Plateau

4️⃣ The Indian Desert

(भारतीय मरुस्थल)

  • Located in Rajasthan

  • Very less rainfall

5️⃣ The Coastal Plains

  • Eastern and Western coasts

  • Helpful for fishing and trade
