English
Greenland is the world's largest island.
It lies between the Arctic Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean.
Although it belongs geographically to North America, it is an autonomous territory of Denmark.
Nearly 80% of Greenland is covered by thick ice.
Capital: Nuuk
Population: Around 57,000 people.

2. Climate (जलवायु)

Greenland has an extremely cold polar climate.
Winter lasts for about 8–9 months.
Temperature often falls below −30°C.
Summer is very short and cool.
There is snowfall for most of the year.
The northern part remains frozen throughout the year.
