DAY 1 – Introduction to Pronouns (सर्वनाम का परिचय)

Learning Objective

Students will understand that pronouns replace nouns.

Introduction Activity (प्रस्तावना)

Write on the board:

Rahul is a boy. Rahul is playing. Rahul is happy.

Ask:

"Can we use Rahul again and again?"

Now write:

Rahul is a boy. He is playing. He is happy.

Explain:

He replaces Rahul.

What is a Pronoun? (सर्वनाम क्या है?)

A pronoun is a word that is used instead of a noun.

Pronouns make our sentences shorter and easier to read.

Example:

  • Riya is reading.
  • She is reading.

Here, She is the pronoun.

सर्वनाम वह शब्द है जो संज्ञा के स्थान पर प्रयोग किया जाता है।
