Types of Safety
1. Home Safety (घर की सुरक्षा)

At home:
- Do not play with knives or scissors.
- Never touch electrical switches with wet hands.
- Keep medicines away from children.
- Do not run on wet floors.
- Do not play in the kitchen while someone is cooking.
- Never climb on windows or balconies.
हिन्दी
घर में:
- चाकू और कैंची से नहीं खेलना चाहिए।
- गीले हाथों से बिजली के स्विच नहीं छूने चाहिए।

2. Road Safety (सड़क सुरक्षा)

Always follow traffic rules.
Remember:
- Walk on the footpath.
- Cross only at the zebra crossing.
- Look Right – Left – Right before crossing.
- Obey traffic lights.
- Wear a helmet while riding a bicycle or motorcycle.
- Wear a seat belt in a car.
- Never play on the road.

- Know the emergency exit.

- Do not use damaged electrical appliances.
- Switch off appliances after use.

First Aid (प्राथमिक उपचार)
What is First Aid?
First aid is the immediate help given to an injured person before a doctor arrives.
प्राथमिक उपचार
डॉक्टर के आने से पहले घायल व्यक्ति को दी जाने वाली प्रारंभिक सहायता को प्राथमिक उपचार कहते हैं।
First Aid for Minor Cuts
- Wash the wound with clean water.
- Apply antiseptic lotion.
- Cover it with a clean bandage.

- घाव को साफ पानी से धोएँ।
- एंटीसेप्टिक लगाएँ।
- पट्टी बाँधें।
Burns
- Pour cool running water on the burn for several minutes.
- Do not apply toothpaste, butter, or oil.
- Inform an adult.
